Step#1: Improve Your English
It takes time to learn a language and one of the best ways to learn is to take an English course. The comments you receive from your teacher will help you improve the specific skills involved in speaking, listening, reading and writing in English. Use your English every day. Read, speak, listen and write in English as quickly as possible, as this is a proven way to improve your English and, therefore, your IELTS score.
- Speak English with your friends and family.
- Listen to radio, television, and movies in English. Try listening to a variety of accents in English, including Americans, Australians, British, Canadians, and New Zealanders.
- Read the publications in English whenever possible.
- Write letters, emails or notes in English to practice your writing skills.
Step#2: Understand The IELTS Test Format.
Become familiar with the IELTS test format. Remember that there is the type of IETLS test one is IELTS Academic and the other is IELTS General Training. The components of listening comprehension and Speaking expression are the same for both tests, but the reading and writing components are different.
