Movie lovers are highly skilled at identifying mistakes and inconsistencies in the movies they watch. Every little change in the appearance of a character or in the position of an object is usually noticed by a keen observer as soon as a new movie appears in theaters.
However, there are some errors that are subtle enough that many people ignore them.
Here are 17 that you’ve probably never noticed before, but that gets really unforgivable as soon as you see them. You will never see these movies the same way again!
Twilight
If you watch a movie closely, you can usually see the reflection of the camera in a car window. In fact, this is a common mistake that many directors don’t realize. It is certainly visible here in Twilight.
Inglorious Bastards
The insignia on the German officer’s chest at one point disappears and reappears in a later scene.
Avatar
When Jake opens the pod, there is no sign of the wheelchair. A moment later it appears out of thin air next to him.
Terminator 2: Judgement Day
At the beginning of the movie, the Terminator protects John from the bullets of the T-1000 with his own body, receiving a full round on his back.
His coat is covered in bullet holes. But a few moments later, it looks brand new.
When the truck driving the T-1000 in pursuit of John Connor fell off the bridge, its front windows fell out. In the next scene, they are there again.
The Avengers
In the scene where Thor destroys everything around him, a car’s bumper is miraculously restored to good condition.
Dallas Buyers Club
This movie is set in 1985, but in one scene we see a poster of a Lamborghini Aventador on a wall. This car was only released in 2011.
Titanic
It seems there were two Titanics. Otherwise, how can we explain the change in the appearance of the deck?
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
It seems there were a few pirates in Jack Sparrow’s gang of modern fashion freaks.
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
At one point, John and Kate fly in a small white plane. The side number initially appears to be N3035C.
As soon as they land, the number changes to N3973F. But then when they land, the first number reappears.
The usual suspects
When we see that the plane enters the airport, it has four engines. A second later and it appears to have lost two of them.
Gladiator
In Gladiator, we see that the ancient Romans apparently had gas canisters in their chariots. Also, we are sure there were no planes at that time.
How can you make such a mistake and not realize it before the movie goes to the cinema?
