Psychological Stress Is More Impactful
Physical and emotional stress can lower your chances of having a child because men are more vulnerable to adverse prenatal settings. There’s even more research that says male fetuses are less likely to survive, so our nature basically gives us more chances to have a healthy baby.
After careful observation, it was observed that male childbirth occurred 56% of the time in healthy women, 40% in women with psychological stress, and only 31% in mothers with physical stress.
Social Support Is Important While Planning A Pregnancy
The more social support a mother receives, the more likely she is to have a male child, the researchers concluded after several studies.
Three different aspects of social support were found to make women feel less stressed.

- Having people to rely on for help
Being physically stressed was also reported to affect the sex of the fetus, but social support exerts a huge biological influence on the mother’s health, which can have shocking effects.
It is important to feel safe and calm, and it is good to practice relaxation to protect yourself from additional stress, especially during pregnancy.
